ACE Leadership High School

ACE (Architecture, Construction & Engineering) Leadership High School is located in the heart of Albuquerque’s historic Sawmill District. The mission of ACE is to equip young people who love to design and build things to become leaders in the construction industry. SMPC and Dekker Perich Sabatini have a long history of support for the ACE Foundation and AGC. The two firms assisted in Master Plan preparation, Ed Spec development, site selection , neighborhood forums, and project development. SMPC took the lead on site design and interior architecture. The ACE project reflects the success of a strong collaboration and cooperation between ACE Leadership High School, the City, the neighborhood, design professionals and construction industry partners. It is a result of dedicated and passionate work and the outcome is a living laboratory designed to support the needs of a project-based, hands-on curriculum.
