ROADRUNNER VENTURE STUDIO

Albuquerque, New Mexico

Roadrunner Venture Studios is an adaptive reuse project designed as part of an effort to revitalize downtown Albuquerque’s historic Glorieta Station property and the surrounding area. Located next to the iconic Southwest Brewery Building—originally built in 1899—this 10,000-square-foot transformation turns a former furniture warehouse into a dynamic incubator for emerging technology startups.

Designed as a collaborative hub, the space features open offices, a digital fabrication lab, private meeting rooms, a community gallery, and a central event area. The design carefully balances old and new—polished concrete floors, exposed penn-tile walls, and steel trusses preserve the site’s industrial history, while minimal partitions and frameless glass walls create a bright, modern atmosphere.

More than just an office, Roadrunner Venture Studios is an open studio where Albuquerque’s scientific and tech communities can connect, create, and innovate. Built for flexibility, the space is designed to evolve over time, serving as a living laboratory for entrepreneurship and collaboration.
