In 2019, to commemorate 75 years in the business of architecture in New Mexico, the staff of SMPC committed to 75 charitable opportunities to give back to the community that has supported us for so long.
Our activities included community engagement and educational outreach efforts; food, clothing and blood drives; social, environmental, animal humane and healthcare benefit activities; and national, regional, and municipal fundraisers that help improve the lives of others. We planted trees, cleaned up trails, picked up litter, supported the arts, social and cultural organizations. As a firm, we are compelled to demonstrate stewardship of the environment, embrace the community where we live and work, and offer help to those in need. On this #givingtuesday, we are reminded of the importance of giving and continuing this effort throughout the coming years.
