The First National Bank Building was constructed in 1922. It was the first tall building on Albuquerque’s skyline, designed by El Paso, TX based Trost & Trost Architects & Engineers. 2022 marks the buildings’ 100th anniversary, to mark the occasion, we’ve assembled a slideshow with images collected from web-based digital archives and other historic documentation including New Mexico Digital Collections and the Trost Society.
SMPC relocated to the 8th floor of the building, now known as the Banque Lofts, in 2017, shortly before our 75th Anniversary. We look forward to the next 75 years from our space high above historic Route 66 – Central Ave – in Albuquerque.
